West Dubuque Tap – Where You’re Part of the Family

by Teri Link

Walking into West Dubuque Tap is like visiting your favorite Aunt’s house. Traditional pub decor cozies up to holiday decorations and historical memorabilia to create a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere where you are free to grab a quick bite or linger over drinks and conversation.

After owning and operating The Navy Club, Silver Dollar, and the Broken Spur restaurants (all located in downtown Dubuque), Donna and Joe Ginter moved their business to Asbury Road and renamed it West Dubuque Tap. Although family matriarch Donna is no longer with us, the restaurant is still owned and operated by her two daughters, Genny and Kathy.
