First Female Scout Selected to Lead Order of the Arrow Timmeu Lodge

Audrey Kilgore, a Scout with Troop 194, has been elected as the local Timmeu Lodge Chief of the Order of the Arrow (OA), the national honor society for the Boy Scouts of America. Audrey is the first female Scout to hold this title since the inclusion of females in the Scouts BSA program in 2019.Kilgore was elected by her peers for a one-year term in June 2023 at the lodge’s Spring Fellowship event at Camp C.S. Klaus. She assumed her role in August 2023 at the lodge’s Fall Fellowship event. As the Lodge Chief, Kilgore will preside over the Lodge Executive Committee, which is responsible for executing the annual program of the lodge.

Audrey was inducted into the lodge in June 2021. She was recognized by her peers early on as a leader and quickly took on roles of increasing responsibility. She has served several leadership roles including Service Committee Chair 2021-2022, Vice Chief of Activities 2022-2023, and Ceremonies team 2023.
